Come & Behold Women's Seminary
Why Women's
Seminary?
Rethinking Higher Education
Women are looking for more than head knowledge. They know that information does not equate transformation. Women are increasingly hungry for living knowledge grounded in truth and reason. They seek wisdom, healing, fulfillment, and an encounter with Jesus. A women-centric model is purposefully cultivated to address the specificities of biblical womanhood.
Come and Behold Women's Seminary provides rigorous theological education and spiritual formation grounded in biblical feminine anthropology, recovering Scripture's witness to women and equipping them for ministry, scholarship, motherhood, and vocational callings in the Church and the world.
Come and Behold Women's Seminary and Bible College is legally classified as a nonprofit religious organization under the Behold Institute and a private independent higher education institution dedicated exclusively to theological education and ministry training for women. Our sole purpose is to equip women in Christian disciplines to prepare them for vocational roles related to ministry, biblical scholarship, and faith-based leadership.
We remain committed to biblical studies, theology, and ministry preparation, ensuring that every program aligns with our mission to prepare women for their faith journeys. Our seminary exists to nurture, develop, and prepare Christian women who will serve their communities in faith-based roles, ensuring that every aspect of our institution remains dedicated to advancing theological knowledge and ministerial effectiveness for women in the Church.
If you have any questions about our mission, programs, or institutional status, please feel free to contact us.
Come & Behold Women's Seminary & Bible College is legally authorized to grant graduate religious degrees under the State of New Mexico's religious exemption and is formally recognized to operate as a religious institution of higher education in the United States, with approval to deliver theological and ministry training through distance education. We have intentionally structured our seminary to be accessible online, making it possible for women to pursue rigorous theological training while continuing to serve in their homes, workplaces, and communities. We regularly offer pop-up campuses globally, extending our reach while maintaining the same standards of excellence.
The seminary is also accredited by the Global Education Accrediting Commission (GEAC), an international accrediting body dedicated to advancing educational excellence through rigorous standards, onsite evaluations, and continuous institutional support. GEAC accreditation affirms that our programs meet high standards of academic quality, innovation, and global best practices, preparing women for faithful service and leadership in a range of vocational and ministry contexts.
History in
the Making
A model built for
the contemporary woman
Come and Behold Women's Seminary (CBWS) emerged from a profound necessity, responding to an urgent call for higher education reform driven by financial, ideological, and social imperatives. In a landscape rich with commendable institutions, we chose to forge a model that resonates deeply with the contemporary woman, thoughtfully addressing her unique needs in terms of core beliefs, finances, and sociability. At the heart of our approach lies the compassionate essence of Jesus for women, fostering safe environments conducive to spiritual growth and intimacy with Him. While coeducational settings offer valuable experiences, there is an undeniable strength found in learning alongside a community of sisters. Thus, CBWS stands as a rigorous, heartfelt, Judeo-Christian traditional, and spirit-filled seminary dedicated to exploring tough questions and nurturing a transformative educational journey. We are an international community welcoming women worldwide.
